Keegans Beach Resort

Bequia has a long tradition of hospitality to its visitors and Keegans is a wonderful example of the true Bequia guest house. The essence of this little gem of a place is the warm welcome and the lovely fully self–contained accommodation, but the real icing on the cake is its superb beachside location. There is a nice selection of rooms and apartments for two or four people – we especially like the two one–bedroom apartments side by side in the back garden which are ideal for two couples or a family of four. All the accommodation at Keegans is spotlessly clean and comfortable and all rooms are very well equipped. All have mosquito nets, shower/bathrooms, ceiling fans and fridges; some have cable TV and air conditioning. Keegans Bar is a friendly meeting place for locals and tourists alike and all meals are served either in the restaurant or on the beachside terrace just steps from the ocean. The guest house overlooks the fabulous beach of Lower Bay where the blue waters lap the golden sands where the swimming is safe and the little water taxis will take you to town in under five minutes, or you can get a cab which takes about seven minutes. The owner, his family and staff will welcome you to this very traditional Caribbean guest house - a very affordable place to stay and an excellent base from which to enjoy a holiday on Bequia.
